Help....our vintage Electrolux Shag tool slipped over the button lock on our central vacuum wand. Any thoughts or recommendations on how to get it off without damaging the nozzle or wand? I'd really like to save both.
Yes, I still use the old shag tool on a shag area rug. Folks who visit have asked how we get the shag pile to look so good. Brings back memories of vacuuming the shag carpet in our den as a kid.
One should never take the 'quick and dirty' approach to vacuuming...just a few steps back to the closet to get the other wand would have saved a big headache
