Enviracare Filter-Queen cones?

Hi, all. I bought some Filter-Queen filters from someone on ebay. I tried to look up the companies website but couldn't find anything about it. Are they made by FQ?.....Bill in Az....

The genuine cones will have Health-Mor on the package, others will say "designed to fit".

Hi Bill, The Genuine FQ cones I have are vintage for my model 33,circa 1965,so who knows, the aftermarket cones could be an improvement over the ones I have, Mark

When i bought my used Filter Queen it came with a package of the Envirocare Cellulose filters. They are aftermarket and seem to be just fine, I have never had any genuine filter cones. The Envirocare ones the inside of the cone has always been clean when I change the filters.

I just bought a couple new Filter Queens from ebay, and one of them came with a pack of Envirocare cones. I thought they felt lighter, so I held one next to a genuine under a light. The Envirocare cones let a lot more light through, so I threw them away and will use only the genuine cones. I did that on Tuesday of this week with brand new cones of both brands. That contrast doesn't prove that the others don't work as well as the genuines, but I don't trust them and don't want to find out the hard way with a vacuum as expensive as a Filter Queen.
