Just looking at the first picture I can tell from the metal tag on the side that it is a factory rebuild. You could get the Model L with a cord rewinder or the halo (which is what you have). The Model L started out with a PN 1 then progressed thru the PN2 and into the PN 4. When you plugged the hose into the vacuum there was a swivel lock that went on the hose to keep it from turning as you ran the cord down the hose for the power nozzle.

I dont think mine has swivel lock, but i will check. It is, indeed, an Electrolux ReBuild. The hose is well worn, but its not leaking...
