Oh Mike I remember that attic well!! We had such a great time at that convention!! I will always be so grateful to Robert for the GE swivel top he gave me but even more appreciative for bringing us all together. Thanks Robert!!

I think mine is an early one say 1960 one of the first as the serial number ends with 99000 and has the telescopic wand and aluminium back plate.
These machines are brilliant in my opinion and i use mine weekly for what it was made for.
I have a scruffy one in the garage as a back up for spares but also an early one.
I have noticed though with mine my handle has very fine hair line crack where its riveted to the body but 17 years later doesn't seem to be getting any worse.
