VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

I tried the normal version, if you live in an area with any amount of dust, IE normal house with animals or any one near a farm avoid it . I know there was a problim with fine dust in Australia as well.

I loved the vacuum but its mae for appartments that have little dust not houses with through traffic.

the dirt went right through the motor and clogged up the hepa filter.

We only have this problem when the machine is used in houses particularly older ones, it has a super strong suction.

for an apartment this should be ok

Yikes!

Thats a lot of dust to go straight through the motor! How fine is the dust you guys have there in SA Gareth? And how fast did it clog the pre-motor filter?

This was a 2 day old vacuum , the person stayed on a farm and there was alot of dust, to be fair but she only vacuumed one room.

Here previous vacuum was a LG upright. I lent her one of our loan machines and she ended up buying that instead, we get a fair amount in with this problem

We only had problems in australia

when people got something stuck in the cyclone that didn't allow the fine dust to fall out of the air stream. a ball of fluff would stop the dust and dirt exiting the cyclone path and allow it straight thru into the foam pre-motor filter.

These are a really good machine, but not for those that don't do maintenance (eg. 80% of the general public.
