I've never used a Hoover Turbopower or Turbomaster, from what I've heard they are great upright cleaners. Lux had a definate advantage with the tools though for above the floor cleaning!

I have to agree I think, cant remember how long the Lux hose stretched but Lux had that great long crevice tool and im eternally loving the 2 in 1 dusting brush and upholstery nozzle. Nice long soft bristles for great delicate dusting. Although small pieces of stone got wedged in the bars across the bottom when cleaning out the car etc when in upholstery mode. Nice handle on them too, shame the turbomasterpower didnt have the elbow on it for ease of grip. Im also Rob, my names are in wrong order in my profile, lol. Rob,
