I was poking around in my workshop today and I came across my Model R Electrolux. I hadn't used it in a while so I brought it upstairs and gave it a whirl around the apartment. It's a lovely machine; nearly as quiet as the Model G.
My Model R isn't in mint condition -- it is obviously well used. There's a small dent in one side and a few scratches and scuffs here and there. And the electric cord for the power nozzle is missing the attaching cuff at the handle end of the hose. But I like it just fine, since I recall seeing quite a few of them back in the day.
The last photo shows the Model R and the turquoise Model L together.
