Electrolux model G and L,

What year did the Tan "G" come out and what was the price for the complete system? Also, when did the White and Teal model "L" come out ,and the price ?

My parent's bought their tan model G in October of 1968 for $175 with the power nozzle, my Aunt bought hers that same night for $125.00 with no power nozzle, she decided she wanted the power nozzle and bought it in December of 1968 for $50.00, but it was the model 1205 blue with the 1 piece plastic wand like our tan model G had.

The model L that matched the G (white, teal) came out in 1962, replacing the model R. It was $99. The power nozzle was $49.75 The cord winder was $19.75

Tom, you are right on the money!!! I have my grandmothers invoice for her white L and its dated 1962 and was about $150 with power nozzle.
