Ended up replacing the bearings in the motor this evening, so the motor isn't as loud as before.
It's so nice when you have the original Electrolux tools to get the bearings off and put the new bearings on. The front bearing seater is really nice, you put the back bearing cover on, then the bearing, then screw the tool on to the armature, then just twist the outside of the tool and the bearing just slides down into place on the armature.
