Electrolux hose ID?

I was going through some hoses last night and pulled this one out. I'm not sure when or where I got it, but it's a color and pattern that I don't recall seeing before. Is it genuine Lux, and if so, which model is it for? Lux experts?

The hose itself is shot, and has some creases in it, which you can see in the photos.

I'm fairly certain that goes to the lovely Turquoise model L of 1968!

That is a Model R hose. The Model R was the only model that used that pattern and those colors.

The attachments, including the optional power nozzle, were the same colors as the Model G.

The white Model L had the same hose as the aqua Model G -- light aqua background with white and darker aqua stripes in pairs.

Yes, the hose you have pictured is for a Model R; although it has the same colors of tracers as the Model F--teal and gray--in a different pattern. The background color of the Model F's, though, seems to have been a brighter ivory than the background color of the Model R's--unless I have just seen discolored ones (I use ivory to distinguish it from a bright white). The tan Model Gs, the golden Model 1205/Golden J, and the early golden Model 1401/Super Js' hoses also had similar ivory-colored backgrounds while their tracers were different colors.

From the 1957 to the 1978 teal was the accent color of tracer to the primary color (that of the machine). The following models made during that time had it: Fs, Rs, aqua Gs, ivory Ls, golden 1205s, golden Ls, and golden 1401s.

The teal Model L, which sold from 1968 to 1974, had hoses with teal backgrounds and pairs of white tracers.

Scratch that statement in my first reply about the primary color of tracer matching the color of the machine. While that was true with the Model Fs and Model Rs, the rest used a white primary color. The terms 'primary' and 'accent', then, could be debated (which is not what I sought). Perhaps 'neutral' would be more applicable to the machines that carried the hoses with white tracers.

All this talk about tracers got me to thinking about those in the chevron pattern (in various colors) during the following years: 1952-1957; 1978-1993

I believe the vinyl ribbed hoses replaced the vinyl woven hoses in 1994 with the introduction of the Renaissance/Model C104A. If that is correct this marks the 20th year of the modern-type hoses.
