electrolux G? Maybe?

Today on my lunch i picked this up! i dont think it has the correct hose with it, but it does run, i would love to find the original attachment for it, i have been wating one for a long time and i was able to pick this one up for 10.00! if anyone has any attachment they would be willing to let got of for this model, let me know! BTW what model is this?

Model XXX

That is a Model XXX (30) that was made from about 1937 to 1952 (or there abouts). I think that particular model had the longest production run of any Electrolux model.

Here's mine

Mine was about $8.56 in 2008, from the Humane Society Thrift Store in Vero Beach, the attatchment caddy came from one of my pals in Vacuumland. What a great find for you, and I know somebody can fix you up with all the extras.

it had beeen an extrenly long week, so sorry i had a brain fart! I dont know why i could not call my machine a XXX. i really did know that, maybe it was pure excitement brought by a new (old) vacuum. What is that little device sitting next to your crevice tool on the XXX? It looks like it could be some kind of air bleeder attachment. I've never seen one of those before.

That is a suction control. Prior to incorporating it into the handle of the hose. I'll post a picture of it in a little bit. It's really kinda cool.
