Rick I'll give you $20 for that XXX and all the attachements etc.. Deal? And to save you postage mailing it to me I'll pick it up in Chicago. Even better deal for you.

Pete,

I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I ripped you off for $20.00! I paid $4.99 plus shipping for that machine. It was minus a hose. I then "restored" it (didn't take much)- basically polishing and cleaning up. I've since added the extras over the past couple of years. I did have the cord winder re-chromed. This and my LX are among my favorites. So much shiny metal!

Bill,

Here's that suction control. It's marked in low - high increments.

Here it is in use. I always wanted one of these. It came as an "extra" with a sprayer. It was listed in the Electrolux XXX manual, but I had never seen one.

Well I learn something new everyday!! Rick I have never seen that suction control before. Have to go back and check the manual I have for my XXX and see if they show it. Oh my, your machines are beautiful!!!!

Terry!!!!!

Post a picture of your triangular crevice tool. PLEASE??? I think Bill would get a kick out of that!

Rick

Gosh Rick,
Your machines are sooo pristine!!
You've inspired me .... once I have my move behind me (next weekend is moving time) I've got to rev up the elbow grease and shine some of my machines.
My Lux 30 and 2 Kirbys are headed for the buffing wheel
I do love all the chrome on the luxs and Kirbys ... and it's so much fun when they're shiny.
BTW, love that suction control .... sometimes it's worth the extra effort to get the suction just right.
Thanks for posting
Pat

Here you go guys, I love this little tool, not sure but I think it was made for clothes, drapes, etc but I have found it works great on furniture too.

What Beautiful XXX's!!

And Rick, your Westinghouse and Lux G are sensational! I don't believe I've seen a XXX hose look so immaculate, and you've even got the optional wall brush and white dusting brush!
Jeff

Terry,

Thanks for the picture. Those little guys are so neat. And heavy for such a small device. You've said how handy it has been in use.

Dave, thanks so much for posting that!! Very interesting. I had no idea that it was that old. Like I said it is really a handy little tool and I have used it often on furniture. It just glides over the fabric.
