Electrolux E-2000 question mark light

I open this nice vacuum to fix the cord reeling. I manage to fix it and close the vacuum. But now I have the question mark light on and the vacuum doesn't work.

did you put a bag in the vacuum and make sure it seated properly could be the bag check switch id turn off turn on should reboot it

Nikita, that question mark light comes on if you have no bag installed - it's a failsafe to protect the vacuum from being damaged by dirt due to no bag being in the bag compartment.

It could be the bag door contacts have failed. There is a set of 3 prongs that match up to 3 receptacles on the bottom of the bag compartment. Occasionally, those go wonky on the AP series and E2000 and require sanding down lightly or replacement entirely. Electrolux abandoned this design on the next model, the LE/2100, in favor of putting a single contact pole the bag door presses against in the bottom of the bag compartment.

Make sure your bag does not have a bent collar - if it does, that would be why it isn't pressing the button on the bag door. Try another bag from your pack, if that doesn't resolve your issue you will have to take it into a shop for servicing.

that was my next answer the contact in bag door or bellow yep sounds like they went hay w ire o nya or need a bag try that

i got a heat pump on cold and my fan on windows close im coool like a cucumber hahah.
No problem and yes contacts will make it not go on ive fix a few plastic body to know gota check each and evevry connection

Great! My partner and I have a nice cold window AC running and a box fan so we are staying cool as well. Supposed to stay hot till Tuesday night, so we are staying in till then!
