Electrolux discover 2 free frix

So a few years back i got the l ux discovery 2 1986   upright vacuum  for get this   20$ in a yardsale!!


Al lshe needed wasa clean up anda bag what a score!!  


 


Well fast foward to  2018 or so the bag  door came appart  put it  on back burner till  oct 2021


.I decided  put gorila glue and  fix the  down spout  part that goes  into the bag  it self so  it would stay attach to the lid .Well the vac god were smilling she is fix  now the bag door opens and the 2 half don't  seperate any more now if i could just fix the  cord hook  on the back hummmm.

Discovery

Loose bag lid and broken cord hooks were 2 of the few minor problems on an otherwise good vac that became even better.In hard use the early style could develop minor cracks in metal handle under upper cord hook that could lead to handle breaking.

Yes if  i could finda handle  for new cord hooks  id love it  but she works again  im glad i saved t  from a  yard sale .
