That is a strange one, as this is not a floor tool Electrolux ever used, their pedal tool was much cheaper quality. Were it not for what looks like a perfect colour match, I would have said this is a replacement tool.
Funny you mention a Bolero - I just seen an Electrolux Bolero on Gumtree near me, but its a blue one with what looks like a metal pipe and vario power control - they only want a tenner for it, and it reminds me of a Miele S6 series. It looks like a newer version of yours though, and they show a different floor nozzle with wheels on it (well worn though).
That looks like a nice machine for someone! It looks very AEG Vampyr-of-the-same-era if you know what I mean. Was the merger that long ago? (that machine looks 1998-2000ish to me)
I've got a floortool that looks similar to that, I quite like it. Must find it and try it out with mine and see if it improves things
AEG merged with Electrolux so long ago I can't recall when. Certainly in 1996 Electrolux were making upright cleaners with the AEG name. Until then, they seemed to be run as separate companies with no cross product production.
Daughter went to bed nice and early last night, so started stripping it down. Not got lots of pictures of this, my phone decided to go into reboot loop hell, so could only get a few pictures:
