Hello Everybody
I got my Electrolux Lx on June 15th this year. I put a brand new Air-Flo 4-ply bag in it that day. I frequently use it, but i dont recall sucking much up. The bag is already half full, so i will know if the ejector works. i was wondering how quick most people go through these bags. Its pretty nasty inside the, so im shocked ive sucked this much up.
Thanks!
Andy

It depends

The Electrolux "C" bags are pretty darn small. Sometimes, it doesn't take long before you need to change the bag. It really depends on the amount of dirt, fur, or lint that you pick up. Also, powder like talc, clay cat litter, or plaster can quickly reduce flow through the bag and trigger the automatic mechanism.

Is this the only vacuum you've used for the past month or do you trade off with another?

Good thing the bags are cheap

Yeah, those bags don't hold much and they can fill up fast, but the flip side of that coin is they're plentiful and cheap. Electrolux made canisters that used C bags for some 60 years and the bag design itself passed into the public domain decades ago. The last lot of them I picked up cost me about 60 cents each.
