Here's what 2 of the accessory pieces look like

One is the adapter for useing the hose with the upright and the other is the plate that goes over the brushroll when your using the hose.

Check this information on the rectangular Electrolux uprights partly from instruction manuals (1978 Model 1363; 1979 Olympia One; 1981 Olympia One; 1982 Silverado; 1984 Diamond J) and partly surmised (as to exact years of changes) due to limited documentation and lack of personal observation—as always corrections are appreciated:

Model 1363 - 1977-79 (yellow-gold w/white decals on handle assembly and hood—no text on either; upgraded with clean-out port on side of handle assembly; disc-type wheels; bag light by other controls)

Model 1363 (?)* Commercial – 1978-1980 (early--yellow-gold, late—tan w/black decals: the handle assembly’s reads "Heavy Duty Commercial"; the hood’s contains no text; disc-type wheels; longer 3-wire cord and extended cord hook; bag light by other controls. Mentioned in 1978 & 1979 manuals; inclusion in the 1977 Model 1363 and 1980 Olympia One manuals is uncertain, but the 1981 edition makes no reference to it)--this is one of the two most rare

*I wonder if conversion kits were sold to branches to create the commercial version. If that was the case, then the model would have been the same. If, in fact, the commercial one was assembled at the factory it likely would have had a different model id.

Model 1363 - 1979-80 (tan w/brown decals: the handle assembly's reads "Heavy Duty"; the hood’s contains no text; disc-type wheels; bag light by other controls)—this version is one of the two most rare

Model 1451 - 1980-81 (tan w/brown decals: the handle assembly's reads "Electrolux" in vertical text in an orange rectangle; the hood's contains a horizontal silver stripe with cursive "Automatic" text; base is restyled with an easily-removable inlet hose and a ramrod stored on right side of upper body to unclog; spherical wheels; bag light by other controls)

Model 1451E - 1981-82 (tan w/brown decals: the handle assembly's reads "Electrolux" in vertical text in an orange rectangle; the hood's contains a horizontal silver stripe with cursive "Automatic" text; spherical wheels; bag light on rear of base)

Model 1451E - 1982-84 (2-tone gray with light gray decals: the handle assembly's reads "Electrolux" in vertical text in a dark gray rectangle; the hood's has a wide vertical light gray stripe with cursive "Heavy Duty Automatic" text and repeated horizontal stripes above and below; the silver stripe is bordered by narrower dark gray vertical stripes; spherical wheels; bag light on rear of base)

Model 1451E - 1984-86 (sand with white decals and jade trim); the handle assembly's contains no text; the hood's has cursive "Heavy Duty Automatic" text and repeated horizontal stripes above and below; spherical wheels; bag light on rear of base)

Other information from Jimmy Martin & John (Tig21er):
1. There was a kit to raise rear of bottom plate for low pile carpets (e. g. indoor/outdoor).
2. Yellow-gold 1363 handle grip had 4 mounting screws which caused instability and breakage; the tan version and other models contained 5 screws for improvement.
3. Early hose converter latches were all plastic; later they were plastic and metal.
4. Early hoses were braided; later ones were vinyl as on models CB and CB2000.
5. Dots on the center of the base were the coded serial in case the decal was taken off or wore off. (On the L-shaped uprights a second serial decal was affixed underneath the handle for the same reason.)
6. The standard hose, 2 wands, combination tools and crevice tools were same as those that came with the tanks. These were optional and sold in kits.
7. “Heavy Duty” referred to the double-insulated cord. It appears that some of the models were equipped with a standard cord as the term was not printed on them.
8. Brush Roll Options: standard; long; beater bars; 2- or 3-rows of bristles—also available for PN-4s, PN-4As, PN-4Bs, and PN-4Cs

I am thinking the later "E" suffix on the 1451 referred to "electric shut-off" as earlier models only had a bag light to indicate a full bag but did not shut off automatically). As above, it also coincides with the bag light on the rear of the base.

I am curious to know if the lack of "heavy duty" and "automatic" label terms on some cleaners signified differences, or if the labeling was just inconsistent?

We had picture #2 for a long time & I'll have to find out what ever happened to it. Most likely I traded it for something.

Well, I have not seen one in the last couple years on eBay and an image search didn't produce one. If you still have it you might want to keep it.

Here's a photo of the sand/jade 1451E name stamp up close:
