I am the original owner of a model 1401B Olympia, serial no. N41167H, purchased new in 1978. It is in excellent condition, with all accessories. The hose is worn out and needs to be replaced. The machine has been in storage in Minneapolis since 1992, when all I needed in a new home was a stick vac. Best offer. Thanks to all.

Exactly, cheese wonton. It was so long ago it's hard to remember how or why cream-colored attachments got replaced by green. I had an Electrolux salesman for years, until he retired. He was great, would even deliver bags to my home when I ran out, with no charge for the 32-mile round trip from Wayzata on Lake Minnetonka to Minneapolis. He sold me the Olympia and I later bought the expensive (green) power floor sweeper from him when I could afford it. It's possible he threw in the other green attachments in the pix--he was like that.

Seems to me the important thing is the machine runs like a top, has powerful suction, right?

Sorry about any confusion. I'm not a collector but just an enthusiastic Electrolux fan.

That was great service.

I still have my great Grandmother's Olympia One, it has one of those newer rubber power hoses and a chrome power nozzle, so it wasn't uncommon for a vacuum store to just throw in whatever parts they had laying around to pair with a used machine sale, or to keep a customer's machine going if they had the means. I am not sure if she got hers initially from a salesman, she had the golden jubilee until the motor went up in a fireball of smoke in the late 90s, and then I guess she traded it in for a used Olympia One at the local vacuum store. I actually like the PN1 power nozzle more than the others as it has a nicer shape to it and it seems like it runs quieter. I like the white one with the green trim and gold logo accents over the all green one.
