Great pics!! I love those side wheel Premier Duplex vacs, they are one of my all time favorites. Did you all get very many in France under the Thomson name? Did they make any other models?

@ Hoover300 unfortunately no interesting early vacuum cleaner made in France in the 1920s the Germans put on the market in the 1920s an upright vacuum cleaner named Vampyr which looks like a royal vacuum cleaner

There was a Premier branded Thompson sold in France in the 20s, just like mine. I saw a couple ads somewhere. However they may have gone extinct during WWII.

cool ! i didn't know thomson made vacuum cleaners in the 1930s thereafter the Thomson company only manufactured large household appliances and hi-fi

Apparently they made an early 1920s one in the style of a New Premier, with a vertical motor. I've never seen one in the US under Premier, I can't imagine how rare they would be there under Thomson.

it's incredible ! the Frantz Premiers looks like the thomson vacuum cleaner and the apex looks like the calor aspiror ! and the 1st vampyr model from AEG looks like the royal PA GEIR ! the europeans copied the patents of the american machines !
