I have had this item for many years, brother found it estate sale in Sacramento,CA maybe 95? I believe I shared a photo of it when I joined this site, but had never removed everything from the box to find the paperwork under the bottom also enjoy I think it's from the twenties, runs like new!

Nice

That's mint condition for about 90 year old vacuum.
There pretty rare I've never seen one.

I love

....the look of the 1920s and 30s Eureka's.

That really is a beauty.

A friend here in the UK has a premier junior(a rarity over here)and from what I can remember it performed very well and looked so similar to this eureka?

I bet you wish you had opened the box sooner!!

Regards, Walter.

I actually had opened the box years ago and used it just haven't removed the bottom cardboard showing the paperwork that was new for my eyes just now. the surprising part is what a nice purr the motor still has, and how soft the rubber cord still is I guess quality still shows and I'm guessing that Ellen didn't use it much. Good air flow, great nozzle!

Very well kept, and exceptionally rare with the box and paperwork. The cords are usually long since rotten apart by now even with careful care.

The Eureka Junior came out in spring 1930 and sold for $16.50 ($256.63 today).

Thanks for the info! Box has been in garage shelf, covered for 25 years. Nice garage space, carpeted. I'm sure ellen probably had it in a closet,in her 50s ranch style home, she also had a 51_? Kirby
