I want to know more about this model, I believe also reading it was functional too. It's the red and blue colored one, I'd say Circa 1980.

That's very interesting! It looks like James Dyson wanted to put the cyclones side by side, instead of the 2nd cyclone being inside the bin like he did with the Cyclon. And he didn't incorporate the powerhead yet, looks like it had a straight suction nozzle. Nice, but would have been too big and bulky for a person to use in their home.
