I have been trying to repair a Dyson DC14 animal telescope reach that was in for a new clutch. The owner tore it apart so I also had to realign everything and repair damage done from that teardown. I replaced the cleaner head housing completely with a DC14 full kit head. The problem I’m having is the original head as well as the new one do not stay planted on the floor. They simply “float”. When you recline the machine, the head stays planted, then when you move it back then foward, it lifts up and rides about 3-6 inches above the floor. What can I do to fix this?
