Dyson DC14 Animal Refurb

Got this for £20 last night. Was £33. Motor was dead so I replaced it. A few hours later the machine was up and running. I really like it. Also replaced both belts in the clutch. Came with 2/4 of the tools. I had the rest.

I had one of those before I switched to Sebo X4, it was 'refurbed' when it got to me, couldn't pick threads up from the carpet... so it was quickly dismissed as useless by my mum.

I wish we got the models with the simpler belt system. Ours is a pain!

Seanc: it's because the brush is not touching the carpet, so a new internal hose is needed. Or the brushbar was off maybe?
