I have two of them, a Green one and a Yellow one, I love them due to their funky looks, I like the dual cyclone bins.

They clean very well but I would either give the filters a good wash when you get it or buy new ones. No  one ever ceans the filters like they are supposed to.

Hmm

In terms of performance i think the DC-11 isn't very good. It does have powerful suction, but it's airflow is mediocre. In the baird meter it reads in at about a 2-2.5. The turbine head has really never done too well on any carpet we have i've found that a more conventional turbine like the one from my sanyo transformax performs better with the DC-11. I'm guessing more air flows through the brushroll cavity on the sanyo's nozzle.

I've never noticed any issues with filtration on it though.

I recommend fitting the Contact head to your Dyson cylinder, BOY!!!!!!! That thing seals suction and makes the vac seem dam powerful

I fitted the new turbine head from the dc54 to My dc 11 using two different  dyson adapter's, It works so well It leaves the most awesome pile lift patterns on the floor

It made it work fantastically, I am a big fan of the new dyson turbine head with the carbon fiber filaments. I do find it grooms better than the dc14 simply because of these. It is a fantastic floor tool , what I like about it the most is you no longer have o switch off the brush roll to clean the hardfloors and it works so well on them too
