Well I’m not really a Dyson fan, but I absolutely love the quirks of the dc07. I just bought one at a good price in descent condition. I am going to automatically replace the filters, any other suggestions? I was going to order the clutch but I think I’ll see if it needs one. The dc07 seems to be one of Dyson’s most reliable designs, does anyone know what motor they used, it seems like they used a quality one?

I'd check the internal hose, I've seen those commonly tear out (I even had to replace mine as well). These used two different types of motors here in the US, the most common one is Panasonic and the one I don't see too often is YDK.
