This must be in your Dyson upright

DC04, DC07, DC14, DC33 etc or else it wont lift mats well, and block the large debris channel in the DC14 and dc33 for the full suction :D and theres one at the top of either the soleplate or the floating head

** The DC07 is a fully working, genuine DC07 but it has a DC04i or absolute+ dusting brush which looks like its made for the DC07 but is not, it just comes off because of no ring in the swivel joint end for it to clip into

Sam: Thank you! and lol It was good :)
George: Awesome!!! How many blue and purple ones did you have? :D
I personally would like a red and purple DC07 low reach

Very good Mr Parwaz - we will wait in anticipation of your DC01 DeStijl teardown on your other thread.
That DC07 Purple and Lime was the very first Dyson I ever bought back in about 2002 to replace my Turbopower 3 (I was very foolish to get rid of that TP3 though)

Wow! I am sure you were happy with your first Dyson though :) What happened to it? Did you get it new?
Regards
Tayyab

Yes I bought it brand new from Currys Stoke in I'm sure was 2003 now, but sold it a couple of years later to a girl from work - when I bought my DC15 brand new also from Currys. I still have that DC15, and wont be selling it either as these will be collectable in the future. The DC07 was good, and I was torn between the Purple and Lime and the Purple and Red one at the time - both had HEPA filters and I wasn't prepared to pay out more for the Animal version. The colours of the Purple and Lime are very striking, which is something you don't find with modern Dysons now.

Just out of interest - what colour ar all the tools on your DC07, as I'm sure I remember my tools were all green on mine - they had a brief period of colour coding the tools to match the primary colour of the vac, before later making all the tools grey, regardless of the colour of the vac.
The DC04's were good for this as the limited edition and DeStijl versions had two tone coloured tools as you can see on this older pic of my DC04 Purple and Magenta
