Dyson DC03 Brand New in box!

VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

As much as it pains me to say with it being a Dyson and all, Dave is right considering the condition that thing is in.

Thanks

Thanks Dave :)

Jamie: Thanks, you are right, but what confuses me is why you hate Dyson? You found your DC04 to be acceptable and an okay vacuum but when you got rid of it,you started hating on them again, You should definately try a DC25 or something because the Dual cyclone patent has expired ages ago .

well stated Tayab and thank you for opening the door...

Gotta comment.

If you gather together most of what jmurray posts you realize he is a lad unfortunately plagued with an uncontrollable urge to qualify his opinions in a cloak of despair and negativity, even when he likes something. There is always some whiff of implied negative spin, based on what...we do not know.

Some call it amusing wit - I call it a sad and a terrible affliction to view the world this way, really.
It has been pointed out before by others. After his latest timeout 'ban' I had hoped for signs of a maturing improvement.
Alas this latest post proves otherwise. With his over 3,223 posts in just over two years, he continues to be oppressed under a dark cloud of unfounded 'dysonitis hateus' and never fails to remind us so.

I urge you JM to find the joy in your life despite the mire of your travails. Your baleful whining earns you no congeniality points in generally happy upbeat Vacuumland.

There, I said it, for those who wanted to but wish to remain anonymous.

respectfully,
Dave[this post was last edited: 1/24/2013-05:17]

Well thanks for at least being honest Dave.

We can no longer afford the internet so I'll be departing this forum for some time soon, much to every bodies delight I'm sure.

hi all i hav to say his i agree with aeoliandave on the bad comments j murry dishers out also his opinons as well. my dyson dco 7 i got from argos backin oct 04 it as a filter change every year and its 9 years old what good cleaners they are. so just goes to show look after dyson it look after u my auntys dco4 is 13 years old still goin strong to day. dyson are good

Yeah dysons aren't bad, I have a 1995 one that still works, and I got a DC01 out of a skip and it was full of water and it still worked! Then I'm not saying hoover is bad...

Bye Jamie, I will miss you, why are you going?

Dysondestijl: Ikr! you should get it then, I don't think I will be able to get it,anyways we used a bnib dc04 aswell

Finances aren't exactly great at the moment so things like the internet have to go second to finding a place to live.

I'm sure I'll get back online some time, but it may take a while.

I think a good deal of gentlemen on here could do well to read their own comments and those of others before singling out any one person.

I do not write this in defense of Jmurray or any other specific member, I write it from my heart; is it not possible to consider the age of the people who you find so offensive and consider also what their life may be like? Many of the members of this forum it would seem are under 20 years of age. I have seen grown men hammering it out tooth & nail on here, where in actual fact they should be providing an example to the younger following. What hope is there then for those who are still in the process of growing up to quietly mature and gain wisdom?

Consider also please your own age, maturity, and life experiences before sounding off about someone else. Bullying amongst children is bad enough. Amongst adults it is worse. For an adult to do the same to a mere child is completely unacceptable.

Get your parents to buy it for you and you have to help them more than usual and no pocket money for a month or sumthing

Well my parents say that if I want an expensive vacuum then I must either not buy it or save up for it. They say I have too many vacuums and don't need any more, or don't need to spend over £15 for another one! Unless its Xmas then I got a dyson dc16 animal that cost £150ish but is total crap and is the worst thing I have ever bought.
I'm not being offensive mate but when your parents don't get your obsession and you already have 50+ vacs then its hard convincing my dad! My mums ok with it though, just she complains that they get in the way!

Hi...

Hi Mr G.
Mind you if you have 50+ at anyone time your doing better than I was at your age.
I e-mailed you eariler with your new address you gave me. Did you get it ok?
