With out fail! Everyday!

There have been a couple of occasions where I forgot, not sure why, but made the bed when I found that night before going to sleep.

I make sure the sheets are washed at least weekly and the mattress is vacuumed at least monthly.

I have friends who never make the bed and often don't wash the sheets for weeks at t a time...I just shivvvvvvver

I wash my sheets once per week. I have two sets of sheets, so that I can remove the 'old' set, vacuum the mattress with the Rainbow (have to drown the dust mites), then remake the bed with the other set of sheets. When one set gets 'worn', I buy a new one. No need for more than two sets at a time (to me anyway). As far as making the bed in the morning, who has time for that? And to me, it's pointless. A waste of time. However, my husband says otherwise, which is why Donnie makes the bed every morning - not me. I always tell him afterwards that he could have actually been doing something useful with his time, like unloading the KitchenAid or walking the border collies. Or dusting.

Charles,

neshada bumps mean dirty bumps in Italian. Sort of a rash, but not itchy, or red.
Close together, and often chaff off. Tiny little boils for lack of a better word.

Yes. I make my bed after I get up every morning. I feel incomplete if I don’t. Growing up my grandfather would call me out if I didn’t. Whenever I would stay with my grandparents. It’s a good habit to get into!

In Scotland I just have a mattress cover, winter tog duvet and a blanket on top. I wash my sheets once a week but I seldom vacuum the mattress; possibly twice a month. The rest of the time I open up the windows and ensure the mattress gets an airing. Not sure if many do that but that's what my grandmother used to do before she beat the bed with a carpet beater.

Ah yes, the beloved Duve`t;

Some companies offer a mattress cleaning tool. Is it just a gimic?
I knew this gal once whose husband wanted to surprise her with a weekend away.
He had her girl friends take her to a bar until he got home from work.
When he picked her up, she was three sheets to the wind.
She passed out on the bed at home and he could not get her to the car.
The weekend was not a complete loss.
Two weeks later, she was with child, and her friends said to name the baby Matreesse if it was a girl, and Duvet if it was a boy.

Matteress cleaning is a demo tool for a vacuum cleaner-Really,any vacuum can be used for matteress cleaning with the right tools.Its a favorite with Kirby,TriStar and Rainbow salesmen.The customer is grossed out by the dust mites,skin ash,and hair cleaned from the matteress.Its especially effective when used with black pads in the dirt meter on the vacuum.You see the dust mites crawling around on the pad.Run the vacuum a bit longer and airflow thru the dust mites spiracles dries them out,killing them.For the matteress cleaning---Remember Hygenetech?The UV head for their version of the Kirby cleaner.

ultr violet light;

I do remember one upright with that feature. Is the one you mentioned it?
Old Hamilton Dryers used to have them also.
The old Kenmore Magic Blue vac had a pulsating mattress tool. I think LG made that one.
