I Was Ripped Off by a007kirbyman from Wisconsin

This guy bought this machine and claimed shipping damage. I refunded his full price and now he will not return the machine. Do not do business with this man.

Sorry to hear the discrepancy.

Did you use the Ebay dispute proceedure?

When disputing damaged items and the buyer needs to return the item to the seller, a refund is not typically released until there is at least evidence, such as a USPS tracking number, that the item is being returned.

Being that this party has only 12 in feedback, he is may well be a sham.  Don't be afraid to contact Ebay about your concerns.

Libel, Slanderous, & Defamatory accusations...

Hello all,

I have had numerous individuals, both friends & customers call me furious about these two threads, & have asked why I haven't defended or refuted this as of yet.

I WILL be posting something in the next few days. Fortunately (or unfortunately) this is a busy & hectic time of the year for me with spring customers & end-of-the-year business forms, taxes, & filings that needed to be done by today. And I still have a few loose ends that need to be finished even over the next few days.

The "true" truth will come out when the time is due.

The hundreds & thousands of customers I've helped & dealt with from this forum, other online customers, as well as thru local brick-&-mortar over my almost 32 years career, they know better than this 'garbage' being posted.

I'm also, & will be collecting & gathering ALL the documentation regarding this 'garbage.'

Don't get me wrong, this is important & I will get to it soon; however, these few other things take precedence! THANK YOU for the phone calls, & to all those who know better, & have got my back, I appreciate it!

Cheers & hagd/n all,

Bill

This is terrible..

Fred,

How terrible, so sorry to hear about this. The vacuum I purchased from you on Ebay was in very nice condition and was packed immaculately from the UPS store. I would be in contact with Ebay and Paypal and file a case with them. If you sent him a refund, he should have immediately had the vacuum shipped back to you. This nonsense he posted above about being busy and blah blah sounds a bit fishy. It takes 10 minutes to drop something off at the shipping location. Sounds to me like somebody is trying to get something for nothing. So sad. Hope you get your vacuum back, or your money back!

Let us not rush to judgement...

To those not Fred or Bill we shalt not take sides in this dispute, but shall let it settle before we make judgement.

Both Bill and Fred have a case to be made. Bill as per what I read in his profile prides himself in customer satisfaction at his business, therefore I believe that would not want to damage his good name. Fred, as per what I have seen as I lurked this site before joining, is an upstanding and knowledgable member of this forum and would not want the fallout of making false allegations.

I therefore see this as a simple misunderstanding that shall soon be resolved.

I do no intend to take sides and I encourage others to do the same.

Defamatory, Libel & Slanderous Accusations...

My apologies in advance to the good people of VL & other venues for participating in this defamatory, libel & slanderous mess!

However, I can & will vehemently refute this utter garbage, in these two (2) treads!

I didn’t worry about opening the package right away (busy season), as it (the Kirby 519) was coming from a collector & seller, I [mistakenly] believed was respectable & should have known to have it packaged better. For that mistake of trust, I do accept responsibility!

I have received numerous items from other collectors over the last seven (7) years, with NEVER [that I can recall] an item shipped with NO PROTECTIVE PACKAGING MATERIALS inside! Until NOW!!!

Again, while I concur with chicagomike (Michael) & streakers (Steve); I am going to vehemently refute these accusations.

(Between customers & business, it took the better part of yesterday & this morning to get this all organized. Again, my apologies for it taking a few days.)

I’m sure that most all of you, [& I believe if Helen Keller were alive, she], can/could & will/would see the damages now vs. what it looked like before shipment. This includes the damages to the original box, the scratched up nozzle, scratched & bent handle tube (photo didn’t turn out when taken, the macro setting won’t focus sometimes), & the replacement brushroll from Nov. 1999, NOT 1959, like ORIGINAL would be.

She [H K} might have to “squint a bit” though!!!” ~lol~ And mind you, I have the utmost respect for her accomplishments! We have & had vision-impaired individuals in our family.
