I noticed a Kirby Heritage ll on eBay last nught that was in excellent condition, when I inspected the photo further, I noticed that is was a US model as it had an American plug on it, I looked and it said it was based in the UK. So I messaged the seller about the false advertising and that they need to take pictures of their own item!

that photo is actually MY heritage II i restored 5 years ago. i didnt have a copyright on the photo (didnt think it was necessary for a vacuum resto photo?) but shoud i contact ebay telling them he ripped of my photo for advertising? or would ebay blow it off?

"People ALWAYS use my pics on eBay to sell their items and it pisses me off. Why can they not just be honest."

Remember when I showed u a link to someone using your pics and you didnt mind, lol

Anyways I'm gonna message the kirby seller asking why they have an american plug on it cos I am in the moodd to argue :D

PS shall I give the seller the link to this thread?[this post was last edited: 2/19/2016-16:02]

He is a such a bish, I wanna cuss him! Waiting for his reply now, maybe its because I messaged him?

I don't think they are taken from ibaisaic. The Turbomaster Freedom one has a different ending and although I have the short Turbomaster ad with the cat, I don't think I uploaded it.

The ads and retailer demo videos on ibasiac do not belong to me, so I cannot complain if they are uploaded to another channel. I do however complain if I find any of my original videos are copied and uploaded on another channel. Youtube always quickly remove the copied videos and in some cases have banned the channel that copied them if there has been several copywrite claims made against them.

I have noticed that someone is selling an Electrolux Airstream on Ebay and are using my thumbnail picture from my Youtube video. Another seller has also used a still of my Vax HF1400, but I'm afraid that's what happens when content is put online and it's very hard to monitor everything. In any case, it's the seller that will get the grief when the buyer receives something that doesn't resemble the photo.

Sebofan: Roger has uploaded the Turbopower plus and Turbopower launch adverts, but the ones I have uploaded are slightly different, the Turbopower plus advert is slightly longer, by about 10 seconds or so.
The Turbopower launch advert I have uploaded is also different than the one Roger has up, it doesn't talk about the air freshener and the music is ever so slightly different.

Roger: That listing you talk about, they used two of my pictures as well, taken from the Vacuumland thread I made of my Airstream, I contacted them and told them to remove the photos, I see they still have yours up, as you mentioned.
Somone else is selling an Electrolux Powerline, using my photo, again, sourced from Vacuumland, it is rather frustrating.

If the photo stealing concerns you, take the time to add a digital watermark before uploading any pictures.

A cheap way is to use MSPaint to edit the photo and add some text to the picture.
