Hey Guys
Finally got round to changing the bulb on mine and was kinda suprised to find it uses the push in 12v lamp rather than the standard mains pygmy type(Si I know you said yours did lol- wasnt doubting ya really!
.)
HOWEVER..
The pdf manual I have says to push and twist to remove/fit the lamp!-it also says its 15w so im guessing its refering to a standard pygmy?
Did US market machines all use the standard bulb or did the bulb type change during the run of the DAM?.
As a side note the push in bulb wasnt used in a UK built cleaner until the U1040 flat belt Junior in approx 1979. All our headlamp Seniors continued to use the standard pygmy bulb until the end of production. The Turbopower and Turbomaster obviously used the 12v push in version!.
