Tom: nice! And great bargain :D I like your DC01
Stan: very nice machine! That is one hell of a beast :D hope I will get one for 2015
Citroen: cool! But DC01 is 1200W instead of 1300 :)
Erik: cool!

I like all of your daily drivers guys, especially Stan's Sentria

Daily drivers...

Electrolux Olympia One
Rainbow D4C
Electrolux Renaissance
Regina Electrikbroom for quick pick-ups
Electrolux XXX (model 30)
Hoover 300 Special
Hoover 31 Special

Its a toss-up as to which Hoover I choose for the area rugs, just depends on what mood I'm in! For the record the Olympia One sees more use than any other machine.

I don't have a set and permanent daily driver, I tend to rotate to various machines as my mood takes me, Currently I'm using my Vita-Vac, who knows what will get used once I;m bored of that one for now, could be any of my vacuums.

My daily driver for the past year has been a Maytag M500. Actually, since I very rarely clean my own house, Donnie uses the Maytag every day. It is his favorite vacuum of all time. When I get out a vacuum myself, it is usually a different machine each time. For example, on the rare occasion I decide to run the sweeper, it could just as easily be a rainbow, or a compact, or an airway, or an Electrolux.

A DC14 from a batch of new ones we were selling a while back, and an iRobot Roomba. I also have the fan to match the blue DC14 and an Airblade in the downstairs bathroom in the Dyson family. I am musing on the idea of the 360 Dyson robot.

I have a tote bag too Turbo500 to put my tools in too! I've only got the extension hose, small dusting brush plus the mini turbo head in my tote bag. I leave the deluxe parquet head out.

I've got the plastic extension tube, flat upholstery tool, extension hose, both dusting brushes, wall and floor brush and the mini turbo brush....and I hardly use any of them :P

The only uprights I've personally bought extra attachments for ever would be my Radiance, and I bought a set of tools that would fit any Tacony or Panasonic upright. I just have the standard on-board attachments with my X4 clear that I bought new. I did buy a dustin brush and handle-mounted clip for it for my Kenmore labeled Sebo X2 though, it didn't come with it when new. I don't know when, but at some point all the Sebo uprights in the US started coming standard with the dusting brush and the clip that holds it to the handle.

Just a few tools then!! I must admit I do use all mine at some point. I was thinking of getting the flat upholstery tool and the radiator brush but probably wouldn't use them!! I wouldn't mind getting the larger dusting brush though. That's why I'd be better off getting the X1.1 as I have most of the tools that you get with the X4 variants!!

I don't really have daily drivers

But, I use my Rainbow D4 and Filter Queen Majestic more than any of my other canisters. They don't smell, and dirty vacuums bother my mother's allergies.

Here's the vacuum I used today, I felt it's been too long since I enjoyed running this beast thru the house. It's one of the machines I most enjoy using, many memories and a real fascination with them since early chdhood makes it one of my all time favorites. Since my earliest memories of seeing one used at a Wal-Mart and a fabric store as well as at school Ive found these to be one of the machines that appeal to me more than most.
