Convertible 36

I'm liking this Convertible 36 better all the time. The brush sound just stopped. I didn't have to fix it. The only thing I don't like is the short cord and the attachment gate is broken. Is it worth or possible to fix these problems? When my membership renewal time is due on AW I'm going to upgrade on Vacuumland.

Are genuine green Hoover bags better than these white Chinese ones or about the same?

Genuine green, personal opinion. I think they were a heavier paper and filtered better. That's a beautiful 36, Nassau Blue and pearl white. That model had a rather short production period, 1/66 to 1/67. That's a keeper!

The genuine GREEN bags are better than the Chinese. I stood in the room where they were made.

Gorgeous Hoover. Fixing the attachment door should be no problem. There are lots of 'donor' convertibles around.
