Electrolux AB already owned the rights to the Electrolux name everywhere but North America so Electrolux Inc. from the US had to find different names to sell their vacuums under in Japan and Europe.

It has a US plug, I have a NOS PN that says Concordia and has the Canadian maple leaf

Interesting. I had not even noticed the maple leaf in the A. Mine has it too. Btw, that PN is gorgeous. Looks factory new.

It's pretty clean for a used vacuum but not factory fresh looking like this one.
