Hello all, I would like to give my old compact a tune up how do you open the case to aces the inside ? It has the original motor and it has no problem what so ever i just would like to fresh things up a bit i put a new cloth bag motor filter and paper bag but never look inside to see if all was proper , it runs like new has greet air flow and suction i just would like to make sure she stays that way a small tune up for peace of mind and longevity . Thanks to all ill post picture as i go thanks a bunch . Sincerely Comapctc9guy yall have a wonderful day .

There are 3 screws that hold the top and the bottom together. One is at the center of the front underneath and the other 2 are next to the rear wheels. Just look down inside the wheel well and you will see the screws.

Once you get the screws out sometimes the bumper holds the top and bottom apart and you may have to gently pry them apart.
