that makes two of us lol thought it would be interesting to start a commercial vac thread since they don't usually get much attention from most collectors lol
I used to collect Numatics, had loads at one stage. The Numatic factory is in Chard now in the west of england. I'd still say that Numatic's are by far the most popular commercial vacuums in this country, they're everywhere. We still get metal buckets though, but the option of plastic ones is there to I think lol The NV250 and 350 are almost unchanged from their 1976 design. They're not cheap though
Mike that carpet cleaner is an real old one, pre 1990.
This orange UZ920 is late 70´s early 80´s. This sold also with Electrolux, Euroclean and Volta labels.
Middle one Electrolux UZ930 Professional is 1985 design. Electrolux used this old floornozzle with commercial models early 1990´s. This Euroclean UZ930 is late 1980´s. I love these, these are the most used commercial vacuums here. Schools, armys, hospitals, shops, ships all are still using these=)
Absolutely love the Volta Markus, would love to see a youtube video of this one that style of vacuum has been sold here in the UK under many different names. I've seen Morphy Richards, Karcher and Wolf. Heres a picture of my Morphy Richards Bulldog...
Been using My Hoover U7008 commercial today, Can't get enough of this one, its just so good. It Just goes to show you don't need massive wattage and cyclones for it to be a really effective cleaner. It's a bit big and heavy to use everyday but I drag it out when I want to give the carpets a really thorough clean.
Taking on a project U7008 for my mate soon, needs a new handle and fan and a hell of a lot of tlc, its been in a garage for years but looking forward to reviving it!
I have to say that this cleaner mght be heavy and bulky in an average even large home and on medium-high pile carpeting but I had the chanche to use it on a low pile commercial carpet in a very large office and it was so easy to manuver around furniture and so quiet...with better filtration it would have been a perfect cleaner!

There upright vacuums are sourced from Ivac, the tub and wet& dry's look familiar, I have seen them been manufactured but can't think who does it, Time for some searching through old photo's
Kerstar have been around nearly as long as Numatic and Premiere. I have two Kerstars a big KV15/1 from 1980 with a Hepa filter on top and a smaller KV10/1 from 1986.
