Here's One Of My Favorite

Commercial Kirbys. Found brand new in Wisconsin. A ComVac. Now in the possession of Greg Nunn. Clearly a 500 series body with Heritage II bag. What a great machine.

that comvac is a beautiful machine I thought that there were other machines that Kirby Made that had a really wide nozzle, and that was attached to the machine permenantly. I think it was called the lincoln or something to that effect as it was Red, white and Blue

Dident the super sweep have a white bag?

I remember seeing one on ebay(U.S.) years ago and it having a white bag. I was mesmorised by it, paticularily the painted aliminium bodie wich I had never seen before!

Yes, originally it did. I have the identical machine with the correct white perforated vinyl bag. Inside, is a cloth dump bag. They never had Sani-Emtors. I too remember seeing it in a red, white & blue version. Could that have been a bicentennial version for '76? A few months after 09/11 Oreck manufactured a 2-speed upright XL-2800 done in red, white and blue with a matching navy blue compact canister.
