Hello. It has been a while since I have been on vacuumland. In my (Vacuum Related) spare time I have been checking in thrift stores and ebay for 90s and early 2000 vacuums. Still no luck in a thrift store, but on Ebay this week I found a 1999 dirt devil toughmate. Starting bid was $40.00 but that was also the shipping cost, and $80.00 dollars for a dirt devil is a bit too much for me to pay. But if the winner of said auction is reading this, Congratulations! Toughmates are pretty rare! Anyhow, this post was just an update on my collection. No new cleaners but if you want to know what I have in my collection Just check my Bio.

Wow!

Good idea to skip that. The only Dirt Devils that might be worth $80 would be a NIB Ultra MVP (their best upright) or perhaps a NIB "Cyclone" shop vac. These older Dirt Devils were not built all that well and tend to have shot bearings at this stage in their life.

That may be true, but I have a soft spot for dirt devils.

I find 90s and early 2000s dirt devils to be nostalgic, and I am currently trying to hunt down a 1996 featherlite for my collection.
