thats i really nice vacuum.i got it for free that makes it even better. would you happen to know what color paint i should use to paint the hood?

Gee - I wish I could tell you what kind of paint to use.....but I have very little experience in renovating vacs... :-( Maybe someone else at Vacuumland can tell you what to do. The white is pure, pristine, snow white on that model.

You know...when I was really young, I used to hate to see the scratches on the hood of our white and turquoise 1960's Eureka upright. The white tone was the same as your model. You know what I used to do when no one was looking? I would take a little bottle of "White Out" correction fluid and dab the scratches on the hood to make it look better!

lol white out. i guess il go to ace hardware and see if they have it. maybe they can tell me the proper color

im selling the compact to phillip. the miracle mate needs new bearings. sadly those are my only two powernozzle canister vacs. i really want an electrolux 1205 or something
