Cloth vintage hose

I have seen stuff like this (link below) you could use to wrap a modern hose with, but Ive been trying to find cloth vs plastic. Might have to take a trip to a fabric store and make my own? Kinda surprised there aren’t any niche suppliers out there, there are several sites that make cloth wrapped wire for power cords/etc. but no hose.

Jimmy Martin (rugsucker here in Vacuumland) might have what you need. Or possibly check with vac shops in your area to see if they have any "new/old stock" laying around. That would be about the only possibilities I could think of, as I don't think they make it any more. Good luck,
Jeff

That, and actually, The introduction of electric power nozzles. Initially, the entire electrical cable was strapped around the hoses. Eureka changed to vinyl hoses with the Sweet 16 series, and an integral wire vinyl hose for the power teams. Hoover used a wire reinforced vinyl hose for the Celebrity powermatic series, etc. Kenmore and Panasonic were similar to Eureka.
