The specific front and rear bearings continued to be used even after Kirby changed the motor design with the 1956 model 516, up through to the 1970-73 Classic 1-CR.I recently picked up a Canadian 509. It appears the front bearing is riveted into the bearing plate. Is the correct bearing number 1160? Did US models also use a riveted plate? Thanks
