Can you mop with older model Rainbow Vacs?

As a lot of you all know, I have a few different models of Rainbows. What I have been trying to figure out is if there is a way to clean my hard floors with my Rainbow SE? If so, how? Can I use the squeegee attachment on the aqua mate? If so, how? Thanks.

They have most everything Rainbow related and email them and I'm sure they would know.I think that model does have a squeegee available (but not 100 percent sure) I've purchased several things from them in the past for my Rainbow.

When I was selling Chocolate Brown D2 Chrome Dome Rainbows, we always mopped the kitchen with the machine. It's so easy. Use a half gallon empty milk jug. Fill with warm water and add one tablespoon of your floor cleaner. Vacuum the floor with the Rainbow normally, empty the machine, and leave it empty. Pour about one cup of the solution onto the floor, and with the Rainbow off, scrub with the bare floor brush. This cup of solution should do an area about a yard long by a yard wide. Turn ON the Rainbow and pull the bare floor brush tool slowly backwards, applying downward pressure. It will squeegee up all the liquid. Turn off the Rainbow, and begin the next area. Once you've used all the solution, it's time to empty the Rainbow.

Don't forget if you do it this way to vacuum some clean cold water through the hose after you're done to clean the hose, then hook hose to exhaust and it will be dry in no time.

There is enough stuff floating around that you could technically adapt all sorts of combinations. With a little bit of fooling around and som parts you could probably use the RainJet on the D4. E Series and up is a piece of cake. If you get the newest hose and extensions you can use everything as is, stuff like the MiniJet just plugs right in. I can't see an advantage to using the SE to do it if you have other Rainbows unless they are even older models.
