I have my Moms e-special electrolux from the mid 80
's that the motor blew up.

Can I rebulid the motor with ease?

or is it better to order a replacement one? (I think it is the same motor jused in the E-2000)?

Is it the E2000 series??

If it is the E2000 series, the fan bearing can be replaced, not a problem. The armature, nope, unless you find someone with old stock. (Or, if you take it to a motor rewinding company they probably could help) The sleeve bearing can be lubed quite easily. (Don't think sleeve bearings are available either???)

In regards to replacing the complete motor, if it is the E2000 series, you'll most likely have to replace the motor cover as well, as it is different in size as compared to the later 2100 style.
