Medi-pur

The Medi-pur sits inside the primary cone just like this. Mine is a D31X as well, so you should be set!

Daniel, I really like the pattern of the dust bin on your machine! Do you know what model it originally came from?

Over time.....

When Filter Queen has changed the filters in the past, in order to use them instead of the ones designed for your Filter Queen, they would have you change the rubber gasket around the dirt bucket, which would help keep a tight seal with the newly designed filters.

Hey Cameron, let me check tomorrow at work and see if I can come up with a model number that would've had that dustbin. I just have to look at all the model plates upstairs, there's about 10 more. Most are 700's, but I think I know which one had my bin on it, and ill post that tomorrow. As for the medi-pure, any idea on cost for just that filter? I'm thinking of getting one for my machine. So I would have to change my dirt bucket gasket ?

Thanks for everyone's help! I appreciate it! I also have to agree that they are one of the easiest machines to work on.

Daniel :-)

I absolutely love my Princess 3 FQ, it has better suction than any of my other vacs! And definitely use the genuine filters on the FQ as I think it really does matter.

As for the foam ring filter in the top of the machine, I need to get a new one as mine disintegrated and needs to be replaced, but this is an easy fix.

Update

While im getting the machine in 2 days i wont have the paper xcones and thus wont be able to make a demo of it but yes pictures are sure to come

Fantastic machine

I got a beautiful FQ Majestic off Ebay a few years back. Its one powerful machine & very quiet.

As for filters etc. I find great prices for the cones, charcoal filters & upper filter ring's on eBay. In so far as changing filters etc. Go onto Youtube, type in Filterqueen and you'll find several videos on how to, when to & what to do when it comes to your Filterqueen.

Enjoy your new FQ find.

Maintenance kit

I got mine directly from Health Mor. The phone number is on the Filter Queen website. When they create an account for you, they will link the exact machine you have to it Have the model and serial number ready when you call.

I Love all of mine!

The only thing I don't like about the Filter Queen is the hose gets tangled around the attachments on top of the machine when you are vacuuming with the power nozzle. And I would love to find the old batting type of ring filter on the top of the machine. The only kind of ring filters I can find are made out of some kind of Sponge. The Queens don't run very quite with this type of filter installed... And FilterBoy244 on my days off this week I will get down in the basement and get all of the model numbers for you of all of my Filter Queens.... Dan

One thing about F-Queens is that whatever you Vacuum up you can easily see what you pick-up. Great for unplugging Central vacs, sucking up lost rings, jewelry etc.. Other than that they are high priced- Big Time...!
