Pass up something just because it does not run or is incomplete, I have learned the hard way, you might NEVER see another one!!!! I think we all have regret stories!

I love my Saniway... I found it at a thrift store, here in Minneapolis. While I paid a little more than I normally would have, I'm glad I did. Very well made, awesome tools, quiet!

The happy green of your Hoover made me think that it might be lovely to color coordinate vacuums for every room of the house. Or is that getting excessive? (And is that a 50s wire shelf in the background?)

kenkart, I've learned my lesson -- not only with vacuums but with everything!

There's nothing wrong with coordinating vacuums with different rooms! It is a rack, of sort.. there's a non-functioning gumball machine on it. Not sure if it's from the 50s though, I would guess not.
