Hello All:
Another of Sandy's burning questions here! This time, it concerns brushrolls in power nozzles.
I have two vacs, one a Lux Model L with a PN-1, that don't groom carpet as much as I'd like. The brushroll bristles don't appear unduly worn on either unit, and both have bristles that protrude a little bit from their slot on the bottom of the power nozzle. But - I'm not getting that "fluffed up" look to the extent I expect with the use of a power nozzle.
I'm wondering if anyone has a handy-dandy guide to knowing when to replace a brushroll. They're expensive enough that you wouldn't want to replace one that doesn't need it, but cheap enough that you'd gladly replace one if it would make a difference in performance.
I'd be very grateful for any guidance! Thanks in advance.
