Britain's best selling vacuum cleaner

I smell the.....

Propaganda! I'm actually agreeing with about a DYSON of all things being the #1 seller in Britain. Dyson wouldn't have the money for his "Brain-Washing" advertising if it wasn't! Britain's Best Seller-That'll bring in the orders for THEIR sweeper, won't it?

Best selling doesn't always mean best cleaning, either. Look at Dyson!

OK-Here's a better example that's not going to get the dyson fans in a riot. The Bissell PowerForce bagless uprights!
You see them EVERYWHERE in America. There's likely 1 in every 20 homes. This has earned Bissell the right to declare their model a "Best seller"-But we all know how low those cleaners fall at cleaning!

Oli - just noted about your Felix response - I have wool carpets but I use SEBO's delicate brush roller for cleaning with. The Felix is just as efficient at clean up, and I would suggest that your friend considered the green bristle brush roller as it won't fray the carpets - the bristles are a lot softer than the standard blue brush roller.

It would also appear that Oreck UK's website doesn't have many models on show - I believe with TTI's new ownership that the company will soon be adding new models etc.

In the meantime Oreck Commercial in the UK are offering a few cosmetically updated models including a carpet washer that could well be from the TTI/Hoover U.S ranges:

The pictured floor machine IS NOT a good commercial choice-that is a RESIDENTUAL machine-those won't hold up for commercial use.The shown machine is fine for home use.For commercial use there are better choices.More TTI "mix and matching".
