Thusday, as I made my usual weekly haunts  in Philly, I saw a red "Can" DD.  It was intact,  BUT, attached to the end of the cheapy black hose was a HOOVER Portapower hose with tools!.  It was worth it indeed.   ( and you want a good hose) So,  SOON, I'll be posting  all of my non-HOOVER items,  including a Sunbeam mixer, Presto coffeemaker,  Dormeyer mixer, DD toy,  LOTS of bags (huge package of Oreck bags), and various tools.  I'll also list the 3 Kirby(s). Lots to clear out.  This DD "can" fits in the contemporary forum,  the POrtapower hose doesn't.

And here is the Presto

I'm not sure, but I think that the Hoover electric frying pan was made by Sunbeam. They look a lot alike too. Great appliances regardless of whether they have the Hoover name or Presto/Sunbeam name on them. A lot better than what you can get today. Oops, sorry. I didn't mean to take this off topic. Now, back to our regularly scheduled program, already in progress! :-) [this post was last edited: 5/9/2011-23:50]

Yay to that!

I agree with you whole heartedly. God bless Hoover/Presto/Sunbeam. I know I've been giving you grief lately about Hoover, but in reality, I like Hoover products too. There, I'm out of the closet! :-)

Yeah actually I do

I hate dark cramped spaces! LOL. Can't wait for convention. I have a feeling it's gonna be awesome! You are a good man Mr. Long. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers as well.

Joe
