My aunt's cleaning lady y, "Lorraine", has a hard time with the 26 year old Hoover Elire. She's hinting about a shark. So,this a.m., we went to a dept store, who had this Hoover on sale. I wonder how long before something happens. It's nice. ... lots a buttons to press. The only Hoover things about it are: the cord release, (a dick pike contribution, wind tunnel, and, the logo. It came from "The Roual manufacturing Co. As we know, there IS NO Hoover Company. Anymore. Here's a peek.:

I see that, too.

And, slim at Walmart, too. I,we got it at Bosvovs dept store i. Wilkes barre. They are bare based in Reading, PA. They have a store in scranton, too. Hared to find a decent selection anymore. This is nice. But, I doubt it'll last. "Lorraine" is not a gentle woman. Broke the belt in the trusted, all metal 707 Convertible. She likes Sharks. Yay, for her. I told my aunt,if you THINK about getting a non- Hoover cleaner...SHADY PINES.

I'm amazed Hoover offers a 5 year warranty on "box store" vacuum. A common problem on these machines is the plastic breaking off that holds the adjustment wheels in place. I've had to warranty a few of these for that reason. As long as it doesn't get dropped or abused, you should be okay.

I'm pleasantly surprised that it

Has some sort of the "telescoping wand", again. There's also a little clip to hold the cord "up", so as not to run over it. The bristles are decent, too. No light. And, a "cup". The last 2 Hoovers i brought into that house, and, assembled, were far different: and Elite, 1997, and a Convertible 707 in 1976. It's true, if you care for your things, they'll last. Then, there's "Lorraine".
