Bosch in the UK have released details about their large BSGL/GL-50 cylinder vacuums. No longer sporting 2200 watts or whatever, they now, both have 700 watts. Details are unclear on their website but they have appeared on Amazon UK and AO.com

Bosch BSGL5AL2GB Power All Floor 2
Bosch BSGL5PT2GB Animal 2

"A" rated for efficiency as shown on Energy label...

All new SEBO Cylinder vacuum sounds intriguing I wonder what this all new machine will be like. I take it's in addition to the K and D series!?

I thought that might be the case Turbo500. Just thought I'd ask the question. I think there is a Felix version too. Not sure about the X series wonder if this model will be touched!

Planned lower watt X series and Felix are to be launched - apparently.

The Professional D6, D7 and D8 models with 1600 watts now have 1200 watts but I wouldn't be surprised if SEBO put 700 watt motors in these commercial versions too.

I can't see SEBO doing very much to their current ranges other than lowering the high suction motors on their cylinder vacs - everything else has low enough power anyway.

Thanks sebo_fan for the info. Nice to see there may be a planned lower watt X series. Might wait to get one of them or do I get one of the current ones!! Looks like SEBO are opting for a 700 watt motor for the lower watt range across the board! Unless the X has a 900 watt! Wonder if the X1.1 will go! Or they could offer 700 watt and 900 watt X series models.

Makes sense for them to standardise across the domestic and commercial if the 700 watt motor provides same performance as the higher powered motors!

I only know of the lower watt Felix from a link I managed to find that I saw on ITV News last week. I have just noticed SEBO UK has put it as a link under the 'News' section of the UK website. It features Justin Binks Director of SEBO UK and SEBO UK HQ and it briefly shows x2 Felix one with a lower watt motor which you wouldn't be able to tell from looking at it.

I only know of the lower watt X series from reading this thread.
